The Donnas - A Rockin', Ass Kickin' Chick Band

What I like about The Donnas is that they're a chick band who'd probably kick my ass if they knew I called them a chick band. Hailing from Palo Alto, California, The Donnas have been rockin' since they formed to play an 8th grade dance in 1993. When I choose to rock with the ladies, I want to make sure they're rough, tough and ready to take/give a little shit...all while having a little fun along the way. The Donnas do just that for me...with such poignant lyrics as: "You Know you wanna hit it...so why don't you just admit it..." from "Too Bad About Your Girl" (Spend The Night - 2009). "I'm trying hard to think, and I think I want you on the floor." from "Take It Off" (Spend The Night - 2009). Who in their right mind wouldn't want a woman with D-cups singing that to them? Rock on Donnas!

I've thrown a pretty good mix of tracks from The Donnas up on RotoSpace Radio. They'll play in the mix after Nirvana (in the 24/7 mix) and they re-introduce the 24/7 mix after the Nirvana hour. Have a listen and leave a comment below...tell me if you love 'em or hate 'em!
